At Adullam Outreach, meeting basic human needs is at the heart of our mission—and in a cold-weather state like Wisconsin, access to proper winter clothing is a necessity that cannot go unmet. This year, we’re proud to launch our Winter Coat Giveaway, a project aimed at bringing warmth, dignity, and comfort to individuals and families across our community.
Thanks to generous partnerships and supporters, we’ve received thousands of brand-new, high-quality coats ranging in size from toddler to adult. These coats will serve two key purposes: first, they’ll be distributed directly into the community through local coat drives in partnership with churches, community organizations, and assemblies. Second, we’ll be giving them away onsite at our Family Warming Center, where individuals and families can come not only for warmth and safety but also for the practical clothing needed to endure Wisconsin’s harsh winters.
Try to Become a Volunteer, This Can Solve Many Problems
To support this large-scale effort, our team built custom clothing racks for efficient, organized distribution during our warming center hours. So far, a dedicated group of volunteers has helped us unpack and sort the initial wave of coats—and we’re incredibly grateful for their hard work. But with more work to do and more lives to reach, we’re still in need of volunteers to help with both coat drive events and distribution at the warming center.
If you or someone you know is in need of a winter coat, please don’t hesitate to contact us. These coats are a gift—no cost, no catch. Just warmth for the winter. Likewise, if you’re looking for a way to give back or get involved, we welcome your help.
Together, we can ensure no one in our community faces the cold alone.
