Adullam: A Safe Place
Building a Safe Place in Milwaukee
Adullam Outreach was born out of a simple but powerful vision: to create a safe place where dignity, hope, and opportunity could be restored in the heart of Milwaukee’s 30th Street Industrial Corridor.
What began in 2010 as a dream soon grew into a movement. Youth groups from across the nation joined us, serving on block cleanups, painting projects, and community outreach. By 2014, that vision took physical shape when Adullam purchased a 25,000 sq. ft. industrial building—a once-abandoned, vandalized property that would become the anchor for transformation.
From those early years, Adullam has steadily grown into a hub of service, creativity, and renewal. The building has been transformed into a Family Warming Center, a Relief Center distributing furniture and basic needs, and a creative gathering place for youth and families. Volunteers, neighbors, and partners have invested thousands of hours, beautifying not just a building, but an entire block.
