Relief Center

Since 2012, Adullam Outreach’s Relief Center has been a core expression of our mission to serve the practical needs of our community with dignity and love. When a family is rebuilding, the right pieces of furniture can provide stability, comfort, and a sense of home.

Furniture is often the missing piece in the safety net. While public support may help with food, disability benefits, or rent, few programs cover beds to sleep on, tables to gather around, or lamps to brighten a room. That gap is exactly where the Relief Center stands in the gap for our neighbors.

Across North Milwaukee and South Milwaukee, many households move frequently or face sudden crises—house fires, unsafe living conditions, or pest infestations that force a fresh start. In these moments, starting over with the basics matters.

We meet this need by providing free furniture and household goods to families in great need—mattresses, dressers, couches, chairs, desks, bedding, dishes, pots and pans, small appliances, and other everyday essentials. Each item is offered with care so families can choose what fits their space and culture.

Each year, the Relief Center serves 400–500 families. This work is powered by faithful volunteers who sort, clean, and stage donations—and by generous partners who share items from other organizations, estate sales, and kind individuals. We schedule pickups when capacity allows and set drop-off appointments at our facility so donations are received safely and efficiently.

We’re committed to growing this effort—expanding our capacity, improving our space, and getting more essential furniture into the homes that need it most.
