“Honoring History, Building Opportunity”
A Hub of History and Opportunity: The 30th Street Industrial Corridor
The 30th Street Industrial Corridor, with its rich history as a center of Milwaukee industry, is now a hub for jobs, investment, and community revitalization. At Adullam Outreach, we are proud to support this growth by connecting residents to training, services, and opportunities that help the entire community thrive.
The Six Initiative’s
1. Develop the Corridor
We’ve transformed our once-vacant building into a vibrant hub for community life. Today, Adullam Outreach is revitalizing a major commercial property on the 30th Street Industrial Corridor, sparking hope and progress for the entire block.
2. Create Jobs & Business’s
From launching a woodshop and hosting Custom Cottage to offering internships and paid opportunities, we’ve helped people build skills and livelihoods. We’ve also strengthened relationships with nearby daycares, group homes, auto shops, and small businesses—growing a stronger local economy together.
3. Promote Public Safety
By restoring vacant homes and beautifying the block, we’ve reduced blight and boosted safety. Our installation of high-grade LED lighting and a top-tier security camera system has lowered crime and created a safer, more welcoming environment for all.
4. Provide Basic Needs and Resources
Adullam Outreach is a place of refuge. Families find warmth in our Family Warming Center, homes are furnished through our Relief Center, and neighbors receive food and essential supplies. We meet urgent needs with dignity and care.
5. Increase Visitation/Tourism
We’re building a place people want to visit. Every summer, thousands come to Adullam Outreach for events, programs, and volunteer opportunities—turning our corridor into a destination that draws life and energy into the community.
6. Foster Community Engagement & Connection
In the heart of Milwaukee’s northside, we bring people together. From cookouts and block gatherings to city meetings and service projects, we’ve fostered authentic relationships that strengthen our neighborhood and city.
