Window Project
At Adullam Outreach, our mission has always been to provide a safe and welcoming place for families, youth, and individuals in our community. Our building at 3033 N 30th St has been a cornerstone for countless lives, serving as a family warming center during the harsh Wisconsin winters and as a gathering place for youth programs that build hope and opportunity. Yet today, we face a pressing challenge: our windows.
Many of the 125 windows in our facility are decades old. They no longer seal properly, allowing cold air to seep in during the winter and unbearable heat to creep in during the summer. In some cases, the only solution has been to cover them with plastic or even board them up completely. Others are so difficult to open that they pose safety concerns. This not only impacts on the comfort of the people we serve but also drives up utility costs that could otherwise go towards programming and direct community support.
We are reaching out to you, our friends, partners and people who are hearing about us for the first time to help us restore this building into an energy-efficient place that addresses the need to be weather ready. We need to replace 125 windows, and your gift can make a direct impact. Whether you sponsor one window, a set of five, or more, your generosity will bring warmth in the winter, relief in the summer, and a renewed sense of dignity to everyone who walks through our doors. Together, we can ensure that our building continues to be a beacon of hope for families and youth in Milwaukee.
